Sinners — Awards Campaign Trailer (Concept Edit)

Trailer-style concept edit built as an awards-campaign piece, combining story structure, fast-cut pacing, review graphics, and custom 3D elements.

Reframed Sinners as a trailer and Oscars-campaign style piece rather than a standard fan edit. Built around fast cuts, fadeouts, quote graphics, and story-driven progression through the film, with a custom Blender-made WB logo formed from bones in a casket and nomination icons timed on beat. Designed to feel like a theatrical prestige campaign while still moving with the rhythm of ‘I Lied to You.’

Tone-heavy thriller edit driven by beat sync, flashing transitions, overlays, and lyric alignment.

Built to match the unsettling atmosphere of Se7en, cutting to the pulse of ‘Creep’ through flashes, blending modes, quick cuts, and layered overlays. Movie audio is woven underneath sections of the track to preserve tension and narrative texture while still keeping the edit musical and story-led.

Motivational montage built around Timothée Chalamet’s SAG speech, intercut with performances, cultural references, and a broader pursuit-of-greatness theme.

Structured around Chalamet’s SAG speech and the idea of wanting to be one of the best, with cuts to Marty Supreme, earlier performances, awards moments, and figures associated with greatness. The speech continues underneath later sections to carry the piece emotionally, ending on loss, ambition, and the handwritten Dream Big callback.

Fast-paced performance edit using masking, lyric sync, and rhythmic cutting to push the film’s obsession-with-greatness energy.

Opens with a scene from the film, then pivots into the track to carry the edit forward. Built around aggressive pacing, masking, and lyric, beat, and melody matching to mirror the intensity, ambition, and pressure at the core of Whiplash.

Heartbreak edit tracing the rise and collapse of Tom and Summer’s relationship through fast rhythmic cutting.

Begins with a scene-led intro before breaking into the song and moving through the relationship’s emotional arc. The edit flashes between Tom and Summer as the tone shifts from romantic momentum to deterioration, including a reference to the karaoke moment where the song appears in the film.
